Paying for groceries
Another week, and the most exciting thing I did was get caught trying to leave Winco without paying for my groceries. It’s a bit embarrassing to admit that this was not the first time. At least I didn’t actually leave the store this time. A couple of years ago, I bagged up my groceries and headed right out the door to my car. I was wheeling an impressive haul (ninety-five dollars worth) of delicious canned and baked goods through the parking lot before this really, really large checker dude named Ray came running after me. The poor guy. He was in no shape to be exerting himself that way…I almost caused him a heart attack. Anyhow, my groceries are paid for, Ray is not in the hospital and I am not in jail. I guess I have an honest face.
Pat,
My old friend Vicki (Stalter) Hall led me to your websight. My daughter plays guitar and sings, and I was curious to see what you looked like after all of these years. (Harrisburg Pa. Ward).
I am surprised to not see “Dead skunk in the middle of the road!” in your top music list! (Grinning!)
It makes me smile to see you again. we both have 4 grown kids and seem to be doing well, except for socks and pigeons. Notice I am not brave enough to share any photos of me…but may send some of my nieces to see you when they are in Boise visiting family! They are Tom’s kids, he has 5. You sound great! Congrats! Have a great week and nice seeing you, again!
